My first time. I ordered the wet burrito, Al pastor. The meat was super yummy. It also had the perfect amount of rice and beans. I don't like too much, so it was just right. The guac salsa was super delicious also

I love this place! The portions are always larger than the other drive thru place in san jose! And the prices are reasonable. Food is consistently delicious and they are always friendly as well! Jalisco drive thru is overpriced and the portions are smaller for some reason. I love this place

I've been going to this place once or twice a week for a year now since I live nearby. Tried the whole menu and everything is delicious. Staff is friendly. Generous portions for the price. Great spot. Only minor criticism I have is the chorizo is not great, too greasy.

This place was soo yummy!! we had the super carnitas burrito and it was really good! the price wasn't bad at all (around 10) but it was a good size and had lots of fillings - rice, lettuce sour cream cheese carnitas etc i shared it with my boyfriend and we loved it! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for some burrito around san jose. the workers were super friendly and the burrito came out really fast! there's also a place to sit but you can also order using the drive through!

I have been going here for about a month and have not been disappointed yet. They are set up as a fast food establishment and has a small patio area to eat that is outside. Otherwise it's a "To - go" situation. Cost wise, El Jalapeno is on par with other restaurants they just give you more food for the same price. The food is authentic and tasty. Additionally the servings are ALWAYS on the large. My one complaint is the salsa. They will give you two small containers if you ask for it. What they need to understand is that salsa is the ketchup of the Mexican restaurant world! So don't be stingy.

The place is more a quick pickup spot. Service is super fast and good if you are on the go. The cleanliness is okay. I would not recommend if you are particular on the aesthetic of the space. The food is great and perfect for a delicious, Mexican food to go.

Easy, good value, consistent, and friendly service. My go to spot when I'm in the area and want to grab an easy and delicious dinner. My favorites are the carne asada super burrito or the al pastor taco's.

Solid fast casual Mexican food option! We've drove by this place countless times and always wondered if the food was halfway decent. There usually is a line so that piqued our interest to try it out more. We finally stopped by on a Tuesday night and it didn't disappoint! Wet burrito was packed full of meat. The asada was well seasoned and was large enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I loved both salsas they offer (ask for extra green sauce!) What a bargain to have a delish, hot and quick meal under $10! Bonus points for being open later than most places *woot*!
